MOLLYDSW is an Afrobeats artist, songwriter, and producer blending the vibrant rhythms of Nigeria with global influences. Born in Benin City and connected to Abuja and Canada, MOLLYDSW creates a genre-fluid sound rooted in Afrobeats, Afro Soul, and R&B. A songwriter since 2017, MOLLYDSW built a strong foundation writing emotionally driven records, with a core strength in R&B and experience working across different regions. In 2024, an early R&B release marked the first step into artistry before being strategically withdrawn to refine direction and audience alignment. Recognizing the global rise of Afrobeats, MOLLYDSW evolved—merging R&B depth with Afrobeats energy to create a unique and expressive sound. On October 2, 2025, MOLLYDSW officially stepped into the Afrobeats space, followed by the release of the debut album “I AM HIM” on November 14, 2025. The nine-track project includes Bianca, Achalugo, Melanin, Mamacita, Cho Cho Cho, Tatiana, Labubu, Voltage, and Abena. In 2026, “Achalugo” earned Song of the Year at the Epic Award (March 27, 2026), marking a key milestone. At the core of MOLLYDSW’s artistry is a focus on expressing unspoken emotions through music.
