Prizlex, born and named Raymond Dusu Gomez is a Ghanaian Afrobeat artist from the Volta Region of Ghana blending Afrobeats, Afro-pop and contemporary influences into a refined global sound. Rooted in rhythm and movement, his journey into music is deeply personal. Before music he built his creativity through dance at Atomic Hills Basic School in Accra and Kpando Senior High School shaping his timing expression and stage presence. In high school he won Best Dancer of the Year and founded Dance is Priceless a dance group showing early leadership. In 2023 after high school. He transitioned into music channeling his discipline into sound. Coming from a modest but supportive family his journey includes hardship on the streets and the loss of his father which strengthened his mindset and emotional depth. He has been recognized as Best Afrobeat Afro-pop Artist of the Year at the Ghana Emerging Stars Awards. He is managed and mentored by Raymond Sosu who discovered and invested in him shaping his artistic direction. Prizlex draws inspiration from his environment and artists like Fameye, Sarkodie, Kidi, Chris Brown and Akon. His sounds blends life, love, growth and inspirational luxury positioning him as a rising global voice.
