Corey Mazerolle is an alternative folk singer-songwriter from New Brunswick, Canada. Music has been a constant in his life — from carrying songs in his head as a child to buying his first electric guitar at eleven — serving as both creative outlet and personal therapy. At nineteen, he explored folk-rock and began experimenting with songwriting, mostly privately. In 2024, Corey began writing music for himself in earnest, discovering an organic process where one song led to another. Throughout 2025, he performed at open mics and songwriter showcases organized by the Songwriters Association of New Brunswick, where he was invited to become a member after only his second showcase. The association now endorses him and offers references for his work. Inspired by 1960s–1970s folk-rock artists like Paul Simon, Neil Young, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and The Band, Corey creates guitar-driven, heartfelt songs that explore overlooked stories and personal struggles. His philosophy is simple: rather than complain about music, he chooses to create it, guided by the belief, “Music doesn’t owe us anything. Keep the wheels greased and let it roll.” Now performing publicly for the first time, Corey delivers songs that are authentic, melodic, and unmistakably his own.
